Google realtime right now… kind of

Ok, so Google Realtime isn’t quite real right now, in the mean time why not just add it as a search engine into chrome? Here’s how to do that:

  1. Right click the omni bar
  2. Go to edit > search engines
  3. Click on the add (+) button and add the following values:
  Name: Google Realtime
  Keyword: gr
  URL: http://www.google.com/search?q=realtime&hl=en&prmd=nu&source=lnms&tbs=mbl:1&ei=B612TK7gJ83YnAf427DBAQ&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&ved=0CBgQ_AU#hl=en&tbs=mbl%3A1&q=%s

You can have the keyword be anything that you want, I actually wanted ??, but chrome would have none of that, so I settled for gr.
