As for the Republicans, they think the moral thing to do is to enthusiastically pour trillions of taxpayer dollars into unnecessarily killing people (Iraq), but be “fiscally responsible” and resolutely refuse to spend a dime to save the lives and financial survival of millions of Americans. Their “Christianity” seems to me to no longer have anything to do with the wise, charitable teachings of the Prince of Peace.
